CSU Alumni Association Officer Position Descriptions

President

• Increase involvement in Alumni Association
• Keep regular communications with Alumni Association officers
• Prepare quarterly Alumni Association reports for the CSU alumni community
• Prepare bi-monthly “President’s Letter” for the Alumni Association website
• Coordinate with CSU Director of Public Relations to market Alumni Association to CSU alumni
• Assist with planning and implementation of all CSU alumni events

President Elect

• Assist President with coordinating Alumni Association efforts
• Encourage Alumni Association involvement
• Increase participation in annual Alumni Association meeting
• Help organize Alumni Association events

VP of Communications

• Coordinate with CSU Director of Public Relations, Jessica Brown, to promote Alumni Association
• Assist with gaining local, national and international press for Alumni Association
• Help promote Alumni Association special events

VP of Finance

• Develop and maintain an Alumni Association budget
• Coordinate with CSU Business Affairs Department on Alumni Association expenses
• Keep record of all Alumni Association expenses

VP of Networking

• Develop networking opportunities for CSU alumni
• Work with VP of Communications and CSU Director of Public Relations to promote networking opportunities
• Assist President-Elect with increasing involvement in annual Alumni Association meeting

VP of Meetings

• Encourage participation in all CSU Alumni Association meetings
• Organize agenda and speaker for quarterly conference calls
• Prepare bio for all Alumni Association meeting speakers
• Coordinate with President to post meeting details on the CSU Click inCircle community

Secretary

• Take minutes for all Alumni Association meetings
• Coordinate with VP of Meetings to assist with Alumni Association meeting planning
• Complete other administrative Alumni Association duties as assigned by the President

Military Liaison

• Increase involvement of CSU military alumni
• Coordinate with VP of Networking to develop military networking events for CSU alumni

Student Liaison

• Encourage CSU students to remain actively involved after graduation
• Act as a resource to CSU students who have questions/concerns regarding CSU
