College of Business

Greg Duck
Greg earned his BS in Criminal Justice in 2002 through CSU. Since earning his degree, he has been named Assistant Police Chief of the Orange Beach Police Department and recently enrolled in the Master of Business in Public Administration program at CSU.

Jamie Gauthier
Jamie earned his BS in Business Administration in 2003 and MBA in 2005 through CSU. President of the CSU Alumni Association from 2005 to 2007, he is actively involved in researching and developing new resources for graduates. He currently serves as a police officer in Scotts Valley, California and also teaches for Henley-Putman University as an adjunct instructor.

Corine Munroe
Corine has earned a bachelor’s and master’s in business administration from CSU and is currently working on her doctorate in business administration. She serves as a senior manager at Microsoft where she serves on the Finance Bench.

Orville Wright
Orville earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a MBA from CSU. He is currently self-employed and serves as a mediator and arbitrator for the Federal Government and other corporate entities. Some of his clients include the New York Stock Exchange, Florida Department of Financial Services, and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. He is a member of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources, the Association for Conflict Resolution, the Georgia Department of Dispute Resolution, and the American Arbitration Association.

Brian Edwards
A 20 year veteran, Brian serves as a Senior Guidance Counselor with the U.S. Army. Winner of the Army’s highest recruiting award, the Glen E. Morell Award, he has also won three Meritorious Service Awards and a Southwest Asia Campaign Medal for his service in Desert Storm. Brian started his education with CSU in 2002 by enrolling in the BS in Human Resource Management and finished that degree and a MBA in Marketing by 2004.

Truman Tinsley
Truman Tinsley earned his master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in human resource management from CSU in May 2007. A 36 year Delta Air Lines employee, Tinsley currently serves as the international sector manager of the operations control center. He is responsible for coordinating, leading and directing functions of Delta’s international flight operations.

Terrie Armstrong
Terrie Armstrong received an MBA with a concentration in Sports Management from CSU in 2009. He is currently an active duty soldier in the U.S. Army and plans to open his own fitness center or become a fitness trainer when he retires from the military.


College of Safety and Emergency Services

Craig Novick
Craig earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from CSU in 2003. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy 190th session and currently serves as Chief of Police for Franklin Township Police Department in Somerset, New Jersey.

Randy Rudy
After 28 years of policing at the state level and six years at the municipal level, Randy decided to further his education. He enrolled in and completed a BS in Criminal Justice and a MS in Criminal Justice at CSU. As the City of Aberdeen, Maryland Chief of Police, Randy has provided leadership to a nationally recognized municipal police department, including initiating an award-winning, contemporary Community Policing Plan.

Lavern Dowdy
Lavern graduated from CSU in 2007 with a degree in environmental management. She is currently employed with the Department of Defense (DoD), as a civilian and is a Physical Science Technician working in a U.S. Army chemical unit, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Edgewood Area (EA), MD supporting Homeland Security. LaVern retired from the army after serving 22 years in the chemical, biological, nuclear field. She served overseas in Germany, Korea, and Kuwait.

Gary Moulder
Gary completed his MS in Environmental Engineering in 2002 and a MS in Occupational Safety and Health in 2006. As Chief of Federal Facilities for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, he has been involved in environmental program management for nearly 30 years. Gary is an active member of the Association of State Territorial and Solid Waste Managers and Officials, Interstate Technology Regulatory Council, and America Society for Testing Materials.

Dr. Randy Wiseman
Since 1997, Randy has completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in occupational safety and health with CSU. For the past 30 years he has worked for The Emerson Corporation serving as plant engineer, senior manufacturing engineer, process control manager, and manufacturing engineer manager. The last 15 years spent at The Emerson Corporation, Randy served as Director-Environmental and Safety for the Emerson Motor Technologies Group where he was given global responsibilities for environmental, health, and safety compliance. 

James Murphy
James Murphy earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health from CSU in 2001. For the past 18 years he has served as a safety officer for a hospital system in Northeast Florida. He served as a medic in the Vietnam War and a NBC tech in Desert Storm.

Greg Patterson
Greg Patterson currently serves as fire chief for the Gatlinburg Firefighters Association in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He holds a degree in fire science from CSU.

Forney Howard
Forney is 60 years old and serves as Chief of the Orange Beach, Alabama Fire Department.  He enrolled in the fire science bachelor’s degree program with CSU in 2005.
