A Mobile native, Pat Troup joined Columbia Southern University in February 2008. Pat holds a degree in Accounting from the University of South Alabama and is a Certified Public Accountant. He began his career with Deloitte & Touché LLP as an auditor serving clients in a variety of industries. During his career he has also worked at Standard Furniture Mfg., Co. and Southern Progress Corporation (a Time, Inc. company). He is a past President and Chairman of the Board of the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo and a member of the Mobile Jaycees. Pat and his wife, Wendy, have three children and live in Fairhope, AL.
