August 06, 2010Local University Launches Back-to-School Drive
Columbia Southern University is launching its first Back-to-School Drive to help area children in need of school supplies. The Orange Beach, Ala., university is asking all who would like to donate school supplies to come by the office between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday at 21982 University Lane (off Foley Beach Expressway). Donation boxes are available in the lobby.

With Independence Day weekend approaching, the American Red Cross (ARC) is preparing for the most critical blood shortage month of the year – July. Columbia Southern University (CSU) will be joining forces with the ARC on July 1st to host their second annual Red, White and Give Blood Drive.
